Risetide ("the App") is developed by Griffin Long ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

We do not collect any personal information. Risetide is designed with privacy as a core principle. Here's what you should know:

• Location Data: The App uses your device's location services to calculate sunrise and sunset times. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
• No Analytics: We do not use any analytics or tracking tools.
• No Advertising: The App contains no advertisements and does not share any data with advertising networks.
• No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or provide any personal information to use the App.

Data Storage

All data used by the App is stored locally on your device:

• -Your preferences and settings are stored in your device's local storage.
• -Custom locations you save are stored locally on your device.
• -Widget data is stored in an App Group container shared between the main app and widgets.

If you delete the App, all locally stored data is automatically removed from your device.

Third-Party Services

The App may use the following Apple services:

• -Apple Weather: To provide enhanced solar event timing. Weather requests are made directly by your device to Apple's servers.
• -Core Location: For determining your geographic position. Location processing occurs entirely on your device.
